Sources / AWS

Follow AWS cost from the report to the driver.

Compare daily movement and inspect the account, service and resource context supplied by Cost and Usage Report 2.0.

The reporting source

Manifest-listed CUR 2.0 reports.

Guided setup is source- and workspace-dependent. Confirm the reporting scope and access needed during evaluation.

What this helps you review

Keep the report and period together

The CUR 2.0 manifest identifies the report objects used for the selected billing scope. The review retains dates, currency and cost basis rather than treating every report window as final.

Compare the daily movement

Use matched periods to see when AWS cost changed, then follow ranked contributors. Keep incomplete days and later corrections visible in the financial context.

Inspect the detail AWS supplies

Account, service, SKU, resource and tag dimensions can explain the contributing charges where the report includes them. A billing record does not infer utilization or an operational cause.

Review the source requirements.

Documentation explains reporting scope and the reviewed access requirements. Confirm availability for your workspace before planning a connection.
