Review Azure cost across subscriptions and resources.
Use Cost Details or Cost Management Exports to explain billing movement in the subscription and resource scopes supplied by Azure.
The reporting source
Cost Details / Cost Management Exports.
Guided setup is source- and workspace-dependent. Confirm the reporting scope and access needed during evaluation.
What this helps you review
- Choose the reporting scope
Keep the billing scope, subscription and selected period attached to the analysis. Exports and Cost Details supply their own coverage and reporting context.
- Follow the resource grouping
Review subscription, resource group, service and supplied resource dimensions. Attribution follows the reported records rather than assuming every charge has a usable resource identity.
- Separate actual and amortized views
Actual and source-supplied amortized cost answer different questions. Compare within one basis; do not sum them or interpret their difference as savings.
Review the source requirements.
Documentation explains reporting scope and the reviewed access requirements. Confirm availability for your workspace before planning a connection.
